Graham "GSM" Matthews once again puts the "rant" in this week's WrestleRant Radio as he gives his scathing thoughts on the current state of WWE coming off the introduction of the new "Wild Card Rule" on Raw. GSM doesn't seem to think it will work long-term and goes in depth with why he believes the current product it suffering. From a lack of new stars being made and extremely poor creative, the Raw ratings are dying a death and will not change any time soon. He's also discussing why WWE is better off with a Brand Split and the disadvantages of getting rid of it, Raw reaching a new low, a loaded roster they're not doing anything with at the moment, why ratings are so low compared to a decade ago, and matches he'd like to see live at NXT TakeOver: XXV in Bridgeport, CT.
During his formal reviews of Raw and SmackDown Live from this past week, GSM talks the latest burial of The Revival, stars showing up on the opposite brand for no apparent reason, AJ Styles continuing to tease a heel turn, Sami Zayn entering a feud with Braun Strowman, the women receiving very little TV time, WrestleMania rematches on Raw, Daniel Bryan and Rowan winning the vacant SmackDown Tag Team Championship, Ember Moon losing clean in tag team action, and much more!

WrestleRant Radio - May 2, 2019: Jon Moxley Is Back, But Where Will He Land?

Thursday May 02, 2019
Graham "GSM" Matthews opens WrestleRant Radio this week with his immediate reaction to Avengers: Endgame and why it just might be one of the greatest movies of this generation. He then has plenty to say about Jon Moxley's (f.k.a. Dean Ambrose) surprise return to Twitter and what the future looks like for him on the independent scene. Where will he go first? What are the odds he shows up at AEW Double or Nothing later this month? And are we positively sure his WWE departure isn't a work?
Also, in case you haven't heard, WWE's Superstar Shake-up is STILL going on, with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson now on Raw and The B-Team on SmackDown Live. GSM gives his ranting thoughts on the inconsistency in WWE these days along with The Revival reportedly turning down new deals and how they were subsequently buried on Raw, an update on Luke Harper and WWE extending his contract a few more months, the confirmed fields for the Money in the Bank Ladder matches, thoughts on IMPACT's Rebellion pay-per-view event and Michael Elgin's debut, and much more!

WrestleRant Radio - April 25, 2019: How to Screw Up a Superstar Shake-up in 7 Days
Thursday Apr 25, 2019
Thursday Apr 25, 2019
The Superstar Shake-up continued this week on WWE TV (or did it?), and Graham "GSM" Matthews has plenty to say about the additional moves made on the latest WrestleRant Radio! Hear his thoughts on how WWE screwed up the Shake-up, Samoa Joe and Cesaro arriving on Raw without rhyme or reason, Andrade and Aleister Black returning to SmackDown Live (along with Jinder Mahal for some strange reason), the two Triple Threat matches to determine a new number one contender to the Universal Championship, why the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship means nothing, who Sami Zayn's first feud should be with, Alexander's first match as a member of the Raw roster, and The Viking Experience becoming The Viking Raiders.
Also on Raw, the reveal of Bray Wyatt's new gimmick received a polarizing reaction from fans, but could it have promise? GSM gives his two cents on the "Firefly Fun House," the repackaging of Robert Roode and why it's a step in the right direction for him, Alicia Fox's return to the ring, why WWE might be rushing the AJ Styles vs. Seth Rollins feud, Roman Reigns vs. Elias being added to the Money in the Bank card, why Finn Balor and Andrade must feud over the Intercontinental Championship, Bayley teasing a heel turn and how it can be booked, Kevin Owens betraying The New Day in glorious fashion, and much more!

The annual Superstar Shake-up definitely left its mark on the Raw and SmackDown Live rosters, and on this week's WrestleRant Radio, Graham "GSM" Matthews breaks down every move that was made! Before that, though, he gives injury updates on the likes of Big E, Daniel Bryan, Sheamus and Nia Jax and gives his thoughts on Luke Harper requesting his release from WWE. Where did the company go wrong with the former Intercontinental Champion, and when would have been an ideal time for him to be pushed on his own?
In the second half of the show, GSM offers analysis on all of the moves made in the Superstar Shake-up and talks the odd decision to split up SAnitY, Cedric Alexander and Buddy Murphy finally graduating from 205 Live to the main roster, the burial of EC3, why The Usos switching shows was necessary, Rey Mysterio and Andrade moving to Monday nights, why Aleister Black and Ricochet should have been broken up, War Raiders becoming The Viking Experience, AJ Styles and Roman Reigns swapping shows, Nikki Cross not having a home as of now, why Apollo Crews and Chad Gable will be better off on the blue brand, confusion with Lars Sullivan, Asuka and Kairi Sane joining forces and why SmackDown Live's women's division is stronger than ever, if Samoa Joe could still jump ship to Raw and bring the United States Championship with him, which brand got the better of the Shake-up overall, and much more!

Mere days removed from their wild WrestleMania 35 weekend in New York and New Jersey, Graham "GSM" Matthews and Alexis DiGiacomo are talking all about their amazing experience on WrestleRant Radio! Listen as they discuss how their trip came together and what was added to the agenda at the last minute, attending Axxess and some of the Superstars they got to meet on Thursday and Friday, who surprised them the most by being the nicest, what improvements could be made to Axxess for future years, if NXT TakeOver: New York was the best TakeOver to date and Alexis' first live NXT experience, checking out WrestleCon and who they got the meet there, the highlights of ROH/NJPW G1 Supercard at Madison Square Garden, the greatest moments and matches from WrestleMania 35 and the nightmare that was leaving MetLife that night, the craziness of the post-WrestleMania Raw and how WWE ended the night on a sour note, what you didn't see when Raw went off the air, their tentative plans for WrestleMania 36 in Tampa, expectations for next week's Superstar Shake-Up, and much more!

At long last, WWE's WrestleMania 35 weekend has finally arrived! And as he does every year, RJ Marceau returns to WrestleRant Radio to help Graham "GSM" Matthews break down the stacked card! But first, they give their full picks and predictions for Friday's NXT TakeOver: New York event, starting with who they think is walking out of Barclays Center the NXT Tag Team Champions. From there, they discuss Pete Dunne's record-setting WWE United Kingdom Championship reign and if it's about to come to an end at the hands of WALTER, Velveteen Dream and Matt Riddle clashing for the NXT North American Championship, who has the best chance of winning the NXT Women's Championship Fatal 4-Way, who might appear in the crowd, and Johnny Gargano and Adam Cole meeting in a 2-out-of-3 Falls match to determine a new NXT Champion.
The fun doesn't stop there, though! The laughs with GSM and RJ continue as they preview every match on the advertised card for WrestleMania and give their two cents on the pointless Battle Royals, if it's Tony Nese's time to become WWE Cruiserweight Champion, The Usos defending the SmackDown Tag Team Championship in a Fatal 4-Way, the poor build for Samoa Joe vs. Rey Mysterio, why Finn Balor bringing back his Demon persona means nothing, Kurt Angle facing Baron Corbin in his retirement match, if The Boss 'n' Connection's reign as WWE Women's Tag Team Champions should continue, a surprise ending to Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre, AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton, The Miz vs. Shane McMahon, why fans have no reason to believe Triple H will actually retire when he takes on Batista, a major bold prediction for Daniel Bryan vs. Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship, why it looks like Brock Lesnar will retain his Universal Championship against Seth Rollins, and the historic Winner Take All main event between Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.

It's the penultimate episode of WrestleRant Radio before WrestleMania 35, and Graham "GSM" Matthews couldn't be any more excited for the loaded weekend of wrestling that awaits us all in a little over one week! But first, he's giving his thoughts on The Hart Foundation being announced for the WWE Hall of Fame and who else can join them, WWE randomly dropping "Mustafa" from Ali's name, Joan Jett set to perform Ronda Rousey's entrance theme live at WrestleMania 35, and the Raw Women's Championship officially being announced as the main event of next Sunday's pay-per-view.
In addition to his full on-site report from Tuesday's SmackDown Live emanating from Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, GSM talks the pointless Beat the Clock Challenge on Raw, Finn Balor earning another opportunity at the Intercontinental Championship, more matches being added to the 'Mania card, SNL's Colin Jost and Michael Che joining the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, Kurt Angle facing longtime rivals Samoa Joe and AJ Styles on his retirement tour, Triple H agreeing to put his career on the line against Batista, Charlotte Flair beating Asuka for the SmackDown Women's Championship and what this means for the title and The Empress of Tomorrow, The Miz having another great week as a babyface, the Gauntlet match main event, and much more!
